neroma is on a distinguished road
please put me straight

Hi there,

I have a few questions about link building

I use article submission, blog comment replying, directories, and appropriate category sites for links.

Because of this I have successfully managed to get our web page to the first page in google for two keywords we were wanting.

Unforuntately, we sell three products, and therefore I want rankings for more than the landing pages:-

1. anchor text. If I submit anchor text to be <keyword1> for mysite.com/site.html using blog comments. If I submit 100+ blogs with the same anchor text to the same site, will I be penalised. This may sound I stupid question, but im just getting it clear in my own head.

2. do pages away from the landing page, need to be treated differently that getting ranked for your home page.

3. How about sites that dont have anchor text. I.e some blogs have the following details ; name, email, website then comments. Here you can plug your website in the website field, and then just write a reply putting your keywords in. Is this just as effective or is this not going to help link juice?

please help

Re: please put me straight

change up anchor text even doing it right all one set of keywords will look like a spam effort.

deep links show your other content is good too and lifts site overall

many blogs are no follow so those only give you direct traffic... if your name is a link change the landing page for some of them... juice is passed with the site as well by nav links etc.
